Batuan Village Temple
Meet your driver at 9am at your accommodation’s lobby and begin your tour with a visit to Batuan Temple. Marvel at the beautiful Hindu temple as you learn its spiritual significance and points out the magnificent architecture and unique black palm roof.
Tegalalang Rice Field in Ubud
Continue north to Tegalalang village to marvel at the UNESCO-listed rice terraces, one of Bali’s most photographed sights. Learn about the pioneering ‘subak’ system – the Balinese cooperative irrigation system – for which the terraces are known, as you admire the views over the rice paddies.
Batur Volcano view from Kintamani
After lunch (own expense), you will discover Kintamani village to see the beautiful of Batur volcano view surrounded by it’s lake. It is an active volcano with 1,717m high above sea level and last erupted was in 2000.
Tegenungan Waterfall
Next, visit Tegenungan Waterfall, where you can cool off with a swim beneath the falls or even brave a jump from the top of the 49-foot (15-meter) high falls.
Luwak Coffee Tasting
On your way home, you will also be offered to taste several Balinese coffee and tea for free, and also Indonesia’s world famous Luwak coffee (available to purchase) at a local coffee plantation.
Finally, after an action-packed full-day itinerary, finish your tour with drop-off at your original pickup point at around 6pm.

Very interesting tour
We had a very nice day tour with our guide Made Rai. He told us a lot of things about the Island and especially about the temple we visited and what’s behind all the ceremonies and the gods in the Hindu religion. Furthermore he was very motivated to speak and learn better English and about different cultures. A very inspiring and energetic person. The rice terraces were beautiful, the tour at the coffee plantage was interesting and the view at the vulcano was amazing. We actually planned to bath at the Tegenunga waterfall, but it was vey crowded over there. We changed our plans and ate at the opposite off the waterfull at a very cosy and good restaurant called Bumbu Asli. In our view much better than the overcrowded restaurant at the vulcano viewpoint.
