Tirta Gangga, a water palace built in 1948 and surrounded by pools, fountains, lush green gardens, and several stone carvings and statues. Because the water of Tirta Gangga is regarded as holy, it is used regularly for religious temple ceremonies.
Then continue to Pura Lempuyang to get the photos at the Gate of Heaven, it’s a very scenic and very holy place to visit. Located at Karangasem east Bali within the highlands of Mount Lempuyang this temple is not only one of the most difficult to get to, but also one of the most sacred on Bali. If the weather support, you will get the best photo shoots that face to Agung volcano from the gate of heaven.
Karangasem Rice Terrace, if you’ve ever seen a picture of Bali’s terraced rice fields, then you will agree they are quite spectacular. And as some would call them “engineered landscapes,” we often believe that it’s just a small peek into the wholesome beauty and lifestyle of the Balinese people and their extraordinary desire to grow rice.
Next, explore Tukad Cepung Waterfall, known as the most hidden waterfall in Bali. Explore on foot along the river with the high rock in between then at your end you will know your walk is worth of the view one of the most beautiful waterfall.

Gate of heaven with suparta
Bali stole my heart it was everything I ever imagined.suparta from Bali sun tours made this experience seamless. He was very professional from the planning phase. Fantastic Day with Amazing Guide
Picked up on time, our driver Wayan was fantastic all day, not just driving us but also telling us all about Balineae culture and customs throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and recommended a great place for lunch also, very patient when some places had long lines, and came with us to explain the temples and made sure we got lots of pictures together.
I highly recommend this tour and Wayan was an awesome driver and guide.
Awesome Day Trip
Awesome day out, away from the madness of Legian & Kuta. Visited the magnificent Gate of Heaven temple with spectacular views over to Mt Agung. Plus we visited Tirta Gangga, an authentic Balinese village plus the Bat Cave temple on our way back to our hotel in Legian. Our driver, Made Les was an excellent tour guide and driver and was full of knowledge. We will definitely be using Bali Sun Tours again when we return to Bali. Thanks for a memorable day out, Made.
